Buying Research Peptides in the UK

Research peptides may be lawfully supplied in the UK for laboratory research purposes. They are not licensed medicines, they are not approved for human or veterinary use, and they must not be sold or bought as such. Every product on this site carries that designation because it is a condition of supply, not a formality.

What to expect from a UK supplier

Four things separate a supplier you can verify from one you have to trust:

  1. A batch number on the vial. Without it, no certificate can be matched to what you received.
  2. A Certificate of Analysis that matches that number. Not a representative certificate from another run – the one for your batch.
  3. Testing by a laboratory with no commercial interest in the outcome. In-house testing is a quality control step, not an independent check.
  4. Stock actually held in the UK rather than drop-shipped from overseas, so delivery times and customs exposure are predictable.

If any of those four are missing, the purity figure on the label is an assertion rather than a measurement.

Reading the range, not just the price

A catalogue of several hundred lines usually means most of them do not move, and slow-moving stock sits past its stability window. Our range is deliberately narrow – the compounds that appear most often in current research literature, held in UK stock, so that what ships is recently synthesised and recently tested.

Price differences between suppliers usually reflect one of three things: testing depth, whether stock is held domestically, or synthesis quality. The first two are checkable before you order. The third only shows up in the certificate.

Delivery and packaging

Orders placed before the afternoon cut-off leave the same working day, tracked, in plain unbranded packaging. UK delivery is free on orders over £200. Nothing on the outer packaging identifies the contents.

The condition of supply

By ordering you confirm the purchase is for legitimate laboratory research. These compounds are not licensed medicines. They are not for human consumption, therapeutic, clinical or veterinary use, and nothing on this site constitutes medical advice. Our full Research Use Only policy sets out the terms in detail.

We publish our batch records openly in the CoA library so they can be checked before as well as after purchase.

Frequently asked questions

Is it legal to buy research peptides in the UK?

Research peptides may be lawfully supplied in the UK for laboratory research purposes. They are not licensed medicines, they are not approved for human or veterinary use, and they must not be sold or bought as such. By ordering you confirm the purchase is for legitimate research.

Do I need an institutional account to order?

No. There is no account requirement and no minimum order. The condition of supply is the use, not the affiliation.

What should I expect from a UK supplier?

Four things: a batch number on the vial, a Certificate of Analysis that matches it, testing by a laboratory with no commercial interest in the outcome, and stock actually held in the UK rather than drop-shipped from overseas. If any of those are missing, the purity figure on the label is an assertion rather than a measurement.

Why do prices differ so much between suppliers?

Usually one of three things: testing depth, whether stock is held domestically, or synthesis quality. The first two you can check before ordering. The third only shows up in the certificate.

Is a bigger catalogue a good sign?

Not necessarily. A catalogue of several hundred lines usually means most of them do not move, and slow-moving stock sits past its stability window. A narrower range held in UK stock means what ships is recently synthesised and recently tested.
