Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently asked questions

Are research peptides legal to buy in the UK?

Research peptides may be lawfully sold in the UK for laboratory research purposes. They are not licensed medicines and are strictly not for human consumption, therapeutic, or veterinary use. By ordering you confirm your purchase is for research.

Do I need to be affiliated with an institution?

No. There is no account requirement and no minimum order. The condition of supply is the use, not the affiliation: everything we sell is for laboratory research only.

How do you verify purity?

Every batch is tested using reversed-phase HPLC for purity and mass spectrometry for identity before release. Your order ships with the batch-specific Certificate of Analysis, and the full library is published openly.

Why do you test for identity as well as purity?

Because HPLC alone can report 99% purity for a compound that is 99% pure something else. Purity says how much of the sample is one component; identity says which component it is. Both are needed.

Can I download the Certificate of Analysis for my batch?

Yes. Each product page shows the certificate for its current batch with a view or download link, and the full CoA library is searchable by compound, CAS or batch number. Certificates are published as PDF, JPG or PNG depending on the format the laboratory issued. A printed copy also ships with every order.

What if the certificate does not match my vial?

Email us with both batch numbers and we replace the order. The certificate in your parcel should carry the same batch number as the vial label, every time.

How should peptides be stored?

Keep lyophilised vials refrigerated or at -20°C away from light. After reconstitution with bacteriostatic water, store at 2-8°C and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

How do I reconstitute a vial?

Run bacteriostatic water slowly down the inside wall of the vial, swirl gently until clear, and never shake - agitation shears longer peptide chains. Our reconstitution calculator works out concentration, volume to draw and U-100 syringe units.

Is bacteriostatic water included?

Free bacteriostatic water is included with every peptide order. Additional 3ml and 10ml vials are available in lab supplies.

Do you offer bundle discounts?

Yes. Pre-paired stacks are priced below their component total, and any mixed order earns an automatic discount: 4% off 2+ items, 7% off 3+, and 10% off 4+. It applies itself in the cart with no codes, and the rate replaces the previous one rather than adding to it.

How fast is delivery, and is it discreet?

Orders placed before 3:00 PM on a working day are dispatched the same day with tracking, in plain packaging with no product branding. UK delivery is free on orders over £200.

What payment methods do you accept?

Card and direct bank transfer, over an encrypted connection. Bank transfer details appear on the order confirmation and are emailed to you; orders are dispatched once payment clears.

Can I return an order?

Damaged goods, incorrect items and batch certificate mismatches are all covered. Because these are research chemicals whose storage we cannot verify once they leave us, opened or reconstituted vials cannot be accepted back. This does not affect your statutory rights for faulty or misdescribed goods.
